ABTC Relocation & Install Project
PROJECT FACTS
The MEI Reno team was brought on by the American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) for a relocation project. MEI had originally received some of ABTC’s equipment and installed it into their facility in Fernley, NV. In April 2023, ABTC geared up for the start of commercializing their first-of-kind lithium-ion battery recycling process with specialized equipment deliveries at their recycling facility. MEI was given the opportunity to remove, relocate, and install into this new ABTC location in Sparks, NV. The project is a large new install which will carry over into 2024 in several phases. This is an exciting time for all of MEI to have such a great opportunity working with an amazing company and helping them reach their goal of powering the future with sustainable energy.
